"Well I was able to sort out the question I had about wither to put a bend in station O or not. I called Bob Barrows and he told me that it's a straight line from P - N and that there is no reason to put a bend in station O. Thats the way I read the plans so I'm now quite confident and ready to press on. I'm not putting a bend in station O.

Spending the last few days really going over the plans has been helpful. I discovered I made a mistake at station M. I set it 1/2 inch too low. On page 16 there is no documented dimension given for the height of station M. Using only page 16 as a reference it looks like it's a horizontal carry through of the dimension given below station P which is 5-3/4"". That's the dimension I was using but if you look at page 18 there is a dimension given for station E-M of 40-1/2"". When I measured from station E center line to station M center line on my frame I had it at 40"". Going back to page 16 and measure off the fuselage center line station M does measure different than the dimension of 5-3/4"". Using the scale of 1=10 station M measures 5-1/4"" lower than station P. That is in agreement with page 18 so I decided to raise station M 1/2 inch.

After going over everything and figuring out that I was off 1/2 inch I reworked the top frame. First thing I did is cut the tacks of the top frame at the tail post. I raised station M jigging and reset everything. I took my time and rechecked everything plumb and level. Now when I measure station E-M it's right at 40-1/2"" so it matches the plans now. I added two more plumb bobs on the top frame so now I have 4 total to keep and eye on the top frame center. With everything now set again I retacked the tail post."
