I riveted the flaps down on all the straps. I decided to duplicate the adjustable straps for the other wing. The only straps I'll need to make for the other wing now is the main tank top straps. That will speed up the process on the next wing.
I installed the left wing fuel tanks. The aux tank is a close fit. The tank is actually about 1/8" higher than the plans called for. It will work fine because as it is the top strap just touches the skin. Since the rubber channel is about 1/4" thick if I need to I'll glue felt to the top strap to lose the 1/8" but right now it looks like it should be okay.
With the tanks installed I started working on plumbing the aux tank. I realized I'm short a couple fittings so I'll put an order in.
