Brief Description: Fuel tank bay covers and nutplates
Removed panels again for deburring and dimpling for the nutplates. Before taking off the bottom skin and with the top skins off I drilled a 3/4 hole in the corners of the aux tank panel locations so it's easier to locate and cut out later. While I had the left wing bottom skin off I cut another inspection port on the bay out side of the aux tank. When I made my aux tanks I put the vent on the outboard/uphill side to prevent cross feed. I need a port to access that area in the future.
I changed my mind on countersink vrs dimple for the screw hole. I cut a couple counter sink holes in a single layer of .032 and I didn't really like it. I've decided not to counter sink any single layers. Anywhere there are 3 layers of more I'm counter sinking all but the top layer which I will dimple. The only exception to that is the inboard side of the main tank where there are 2 layers of .032 (rib and skin) - I'm countersinking there.
