Brief Description: Inspection ports, lens backing ring
I have a dark corner working on the right wing so I hung another light fixture. That's much better - I should have done that sooner.
I finished up the inspection ports. I remove the bottom skin and set the nutplates on the rib for the big inspection cover plate. Then I put the bottom skin back on and fit the plate. Next I trimmed the plastic cover around the outside of the ports and deburred and dimpled the holes.
I decided to play a little with the practice wing section and did some riveting. I'm going to have to practice some more before I'm completely comfortable.
I also set most of the nutplates on the landing light lens backing ring. I set these using the back riveting method and found that did a better job than the squeezers.
