Brief Description: Fuel tank bay panel lap and stiffeners
I clecoed the fuel tank panel in place then the overlapping panel. I trimmed the overlapping panel edge on the main spar flange. The overlap was drilled and clecoed on the nose rib and the center rib was back drilled. Andrea helped me by holding the block for back drilling again. I then laid out and drilled the second row of rivets on the overlap initially with a #40 bit then opened it up with a #30 bit. Once the second row was clecoed then I opened up the other row to #30 and clecoed.
Then we drilled and clecoed the skin stiffeners into position. I taped the stiffeners into position with duct tape then drilled from the top of the skin while Andrea held the block on the back side.
