Brief Description: Aileron pocket cover, left wing flaps and ailerons
"The blanks I'd cut months ago for the aileron pocket cover were about 1/4"" too narrow to fit so I had to cut some new blanks. I used the same tube I used on the nose skin bend to ""roll"" the covers to fit the pocket ribs. I bent the edges 1/2"" to fit to the skin. Wouldn't you know it I bent the first one the wrong way so I had to cut another new blank. The short pieces I was able to bend in the HF brake but the bigger ones had to be bent in the MDF brake. I couldn’t get the complete bend in the bottom flange on the MDF brake so I had to finish with a steel straight edge clamped to the table and some work with the rubber mallet.
Shelly helped me swap out wings so I can start on the left wing now. The wing dolly works great and makes moving the wings around pretty easy. I started installing the flap and aileron hinges."
