Brief Description: Finish drilling and cleco right flap
I flipped the flap over and made the 3 gussets for the bottom. I also cut the blanks for the left flap. I drilled and clecoed the gussets into position on the right flap bottom. I drilled and clecoed the nose skin to the spar.
Then I drilled out the nose rib holes out with a #30 bit for 1/8 rivets. I also drilled out the rear rib front holes to #30 (the one that attaches them to the spar.
I then used a dremel tool to rough cut the opening for the hinges. I had visions of cutting the wrong location so I took a big black sharpie and marked the cut line till I was comfortable then made the cut. Then I marked a line inside where the final cut will be. I also marked the ends to trim to final size.
After every thing was drilled I made sure every part was labeled and took everything apart. I then cut one end and one of the hinge openings to final size. I have the other end to cut and 2 more hinge openings then I'll start deburring. There sure are a lot of holes!
