Brief Description: Drill and cleco right flap nose skin
I fit the nose skin to the right flap using the procedure outlined in Eric's manual. It's a lot of marking and drilling and clecoing. You have to make sure and catch the tabs on the curved top so can't space the rivets evenly. I filled each hole with a cleco to keep everything tight.
I noticed there is some variance in what others doing in spacing the rivets the skins. I'm doing it like Eric did as best as I can tell. It's more holes and more deburring and clecoing but it holds the skin down nice and flat as you move along. (Looks like I better order some more rivets.)
I cut and formed one of the end gussets and drilled and clecoed it into place. I had to dig around and find my bob stick to flange the lightening hole in the gusset. I used the 36" brake to bend the edge flange.
It was another hot day so I was moving in low gear.
