Brief Description:  Drill and cleco rear ribs

I wanted to get my small ribs ready to prime so I took them out of the box. Back when I formed my aileron pocket ribs they didn't match the rear spar. They were about 3/32" too short. I decided to see if I could fix these by adjusting the little tab. I backed out the flange just a hair then made a second bend to move it out 3/32" (basically making a bigger radius) . That works great so looks like an easy fix.

Next I wanted to fit, drill and clecoed the 2 rear ribs at the root. I discovered that somehow I managed to get the left rear rib attach angle #2 backward. So I had to drill that out and make a new one.

To locate the rear ribs I transferred the center line from the Mylar wing drawing to the rear ribs. I hung a plumb bob from the bottom of the rear spar and marked it for reference on the floor. I took the measurement of the center line distance from the rear spar and drew a matching reference line on the floor. Then I just hung a plumb bob on the center line drawn on the rib and lined it up with the reference line on the floor. As a cross check I put a level on the rib center line and checked for level. Once located and clamped into position I drilled and clecoed the ribs.
