"The wings have really been dragging on me but I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Brad Lange sent me some pictures of the progress on his fuselage and helped motivate me to get these wings done. I printed them out to ""keep the carrot in front of my face."" I'm really anxious to get started on the fuselage.
Also now there's another Bearhawker in the neighborhood. I meet Jim today who's just starting a Patrol. He has built several airplanes before including an RV8 so I was grateful that he looked over my wings and provided any feed back. I got the thumbs up so I'm hoping to get a tech counselor visit next week. Jim also offered to help rivet the wing skins so that's a big motivator too. With his RV experience that's a great offer.
I ordered the rivets and some rivet tape from Vans so I'll be ready to skin!"
