Brief Description:  Welding jig, frame ends

I spent more time in the shop than I logged. I didn't log my welding practice and general dink'n around time.

I feel good about my welding now. The welds are solid when I test to destruction.

I made the aileron and flap support jig. It's pretty simple but I managed to screw around with it enough to take a while doing it. I don't have an arc welder so I used a #3 tip on the Meco torch and did a gas weld on it. That worked fine for the jig.

I cut out the end blanks of main spar side of the aileron and flap support frames out of .062 plate. I used the band saw.

Andrea has been watching me weld and wanted to try so I spent some time showing her how. She has some more practice to do before she welds real parts!
