Brief Description:  Rear spar end plates

Today was mostly a run-a-round day getting supplies for the next phase of construction. I'll be building the rear spar first because I'm still waiting for my capstrip material for the main spars which is still on back order.

I set up the HF band saw for cutting the .125 2024-T3 plate. I took the pattern right off the full sized drawing for the rear spar end plates the same way I did the other drawings, with a clear plastic sheet. I used the same pattern to mark out 4 pieces to cut out. I cut the pieces out with the band saw so the line was still showing. I then used a belt sander to sand off the line. I used a drum sander on the drill press to sand the curved edge. After sanding off the line I deburred the edges with the 6" deburring wheel and a 2" wheel on the drill press.

I also took some time to cleaned and reorganized my work area as it was starting to get a bit messy.
