I actually worked on this a little each day for the last three days and finished today -
I cut and welded the double on the slots on the handle. This was an engineering change in Jan2006. I made a push button out of some 5/8 " aluminum bar turning it down on the metal lathe. After making all the pieces I welded everything to the fuselage. I noticed at Oshkosh that Avipro uses two arm to hold the top of the aluminum arch in place. I like that idea so I did the same.
