Brief Description: Mounted control sticks to fuselage
I made the elevator control arms and welded them on to the control stick assembly. I used a spacer to maintain the distance between the horns for an Aurora GMM-3M-570 rod end bearing while welding. Then I made the control stick mounting brackets. I followed the procedure in the manual to mount the sticks to the fuselage. The only thing I did different is I waited to match drill the rear holes in the mounting brackets until after I welded the brackets to the fuselage. The last thing I did was weld the stop rings in place using a skip weld. After welding the stop rings the control stick is a little stiff in the forward and aft motion.
