"Well I didn't expect it to take so long for the firewall but I spent my whole work day on it. It didn't help that I had to make the top twice when I cut the first one too short at the corner angle. I took the time now to cut and grind a hole in the top angle for the 9/16"" engine mount bushing. I did spend quite a bit of time making sure the firewall was set just right.
I also added some cross bracing to the jig in a couple places. I was starting to see a little movement on the plumb bobs so decided to secure it a little more.
After the firewall was complete I stepped back and realized that my Bearhawk now has a personality. It must be because it has a ""nose"" and ""eyes"" now but it definitely came to life today!"
