Brief Description:  Manufactured aileron clutch bolt tightening tool

Need to get bolt and nut inserted all the way down to the end of and through the bearing at the end of aileron control tube. Purchased 2 hex tool extension sets with very narrow attachment ends (had to remove the outer black sleave) so they would fit between the rivets sticking inside the tube used to attach the clutch to the tube. I then took a piece of dowel that just fit the inside diameter of the tube cut off about 1 inch and marked the location of all the rivets. I drilled a hole in the center slightly smaller than the diameter of the ridges of the extra long hex bits I bought to fit the supplied hex screw and modified hex nut. I used my Dremel to grind out slots for the rivets. I pressed the spacer on the hex wrench, put the hex wrench in 2 hex extensions so the combined length was slightly longer the aileron control tube (I also taped the extensions together with electrical tape to make sure they didn’t come apart). The wooden spacers worked perfectly holding the hex wrenches (and bolt stuck on the end and taped) in the center of the tube. The bolt slipped nicely through the center of the bearing on the left control tube, then the center mount attached to the fuselage and then through the center bearing on the right control tube. Used the second extension and spacer setup to attach the nut (with loctite) through the right control tube and attached it to the bolt from the left control tube. The spacer held the hex bit perfectly centered so the nut easily screwed on the end of the bolt sticking through the bearing. Torqued it to the recommended torque (specified in the Pipistrel IPC Catalog) 10Nm for 6mm bolt.
