Brief Description:  Measured and cut out exhaust pipe holes

With the cowl installed, I rotated the engine exhaust pipes down until they touched the cowl and marked them on the inside of the cowl. I then removed the cowl, rotated the exhaust pipes back to there original position lining up the mark I previously made. Tightened them (could not find a torque value for these so I tried to tighten them with the same amount of torque that it took to loosen them). Measured from the lower cowl support brackets to the exhaust tube and then transferred that measurement from the lower bracket hole in the cowl to mark the forward/backward location of the exhaust pipe. Added 10mm sided to side and 15mm front to back and cut out the exhaust holes. Re-installed cowl, checked fit and re-measured the widest gap and transferred that to the other side so the pipe would be in the center of the hole. Also put prop back plate on and checked if I could remove the cowl. I was still hitting the pipe so I cut a little more out on the back side of the exhaust hole. When I was satisfied that the exhaust hole were correct, I cut 1/16" foil insulation around the hole and sanded smooth and rounded edges.
