Airbrake pushrod was about a 1/16" too long so I ground down the lock bolt to give allow me to screw in the pushrod end an extra turn. Ground a notch in the airbrake to make room for the pushrod end mounting bolt to reduce the force required to "lock" down the airbrake (it hit the airbrake right before it locked down increasing the pressure required to "get over the hump" in the pushrod mechanism and lock). Figured out how to measure and mark the airbrake cover for sanding and fitting in the airbrake slot. Put masking tape all around the slot, lay the cover on top (fitted to the airbrake) and marked around the cover with a pen, then remove the cover and measured the distance from the mark to the slot then transfered that measurement to the airbrake cover.
