Ok, I'm going to use a spacer for the F808 bulk head and the belly skin. after long consideration and looking at the location I've decided to continue with the construction of a spacer for both sides. By using .125 X 3/4" flat stock and shaping it and grinding it I've filled the gap and the rivet line on the outside looks good, not perfect but much better then with out the spacer. The big mistery here is the center row on the bulk head is perfect and needs no spacer, which is the locaiton I measured the WL0 to bottom distance and verified the measurement along the bottom of the fuselage. I'll have to use longer rivets but this shold not be a problem. I'm now going to attack the aft hole which I beleive is for the RV8 tail spring and not used in the 8A. So I'll construct a "patch for the hole and rivet it to the tail skin and F811 bulk head.
