Measured the firewall again, level and plumb, problem is the wood blocks I've shimmed out one side and I just don't like the way its tweeking the firewall. I'm going to buy some 3/4 X 3/4 aluminum square tubing and make two crossmembers to use as the stand offs for the firewall.
