Brief Description: Floor panel gap

I had cut the floors a bit shy of the bottom tube. My thought was the fabric would be on the inside of the tube, and the panel needed to clear! Not so. Panel needs to rest on the top of the tube, with the fabric going around the tube and coming up on the outside of the lowest tube. Live and learn.
Four pieces, 1.5" wide of 2024-0.032" were cut, bend 0.40" at a right angle to stiffen, then slide in place. Drill, and rivet. Good sheet metal practice. In theory there should be two rows of rivets, but the gap is more cosmetic, not structural, so one row of rivets is used. If I went wider on the strip of 2024, rear floor should be remade.
Fan... how to keep cool in Texas. Shop is often 20F hotter inside, helps to move the air.
