This step started out easy, but ended in a bit of a mess which required some patience in order to not make worse. In driving one of the rivets between the nose rib and the top spar splice, I didn't have the universal rivet gun set perfectly perpindicular to the work piece. The set made a gouge/ridge/smiley in the spar splice that I worried would be a stress riser. After drilling out the rivet, I used a small Scotchbrite wheel to blend it out completely. Re-primed and finally drove the rivet. Another lesson learned.
