Brief Description: Screwing in the hinge bearing bolts to the elevato
This afternooon, after letting my PVC wrench thingy dry overnight, it was time to give it a try. Nothing hard at all about this, just screwing in bolts. The distance from the spar to the center of the bearing is slightly different for each hinge. In this case it was 13/16ths, so I made up a litte itiot-proof measuring scale with a ruler and pice of tape.
The bolts have a pretty tight fit, but the tool makes it easy to twist them into place. Seems that about 1/2 turn is about 1/32 once you get to the part to fine-adjust for the proper distance.
The completed hinge bolt wench. About $3 worth of PVC
