Brief Description: Trim nutplate rivet countersinking.
Just a little work on the plane today. Now that I looked at this later, I realized that I probably should have done this before mounting the trim plate to the skin of the elevator...too late!
I worked around that problem and did the machine countersink to fit the flush rivets which will hold the nutplates in position. Since there was a ridge formed by the skin and backing plate, I hand countersunk the holes with the deburring tool handle. It took a few tries for each hole to get the proper depth of countersinking, but finally got the depth just right.
Manually drilling countersink holes for the nutplate rivets.
