Brief Description: Prepping the elevator skins for priming
I filed the few rough edges of the elevator skins and did the roughening of the inside of the skin with the scotch-bright pads. After it was all dull looking and nice non-finger cutting edges (not that Van's cutting machine ever leaves an edge like that!) it was time for the Acetone cleaning, priming, and waiting overnight for it to dry well.
