Brief Description:  Fitting elevator hinges.

Elevator is temporarily mounted to the horizontal stablizer to test the fit and movement.
I saw there was a dealer online that sold a hinge tool that would allow you to hook the hinges together.
Why spend the money on a bent piece of metal when I could make my own device?
I used a dowel, drilled a hole in it, then put in a bolt that had the same diameter of the hole in the hinge. It was just a bit too tight, so I did a little work on the grider until it would fit.
The dowel allows it to easily be removed, later I'll put the bolt in there, but for now this will work fine.
After mounted you'll see there was some metal that needed trimming on the skin so the counterweight will swing.
The elevator very easily ran through the required movement
