Brief Description: Bending the flange on the trim tab.
I used double sided tape (the stuff used to tape things on glass) which was a little too sticky I found after I tried to remove the block - just use less rather than the full span. I clamped it tightly to the bench and used a block of wood to push it down with. It took a lot of force and muscle to bend it down, but overall, it was pretty easy. It just took some time to get the bend folded over. I used the rivet gun set way down to about 12-15 PSI and used a block of wood between the riveter and the fold to avoid the ugly dents left. I was interesting how such little air pressure did a very nice job of flattening the folds.
Then I was turned around and I did the same thing on the other end of the trim tab.
First fold done - this is the bottom fold.
Top flange overlapping the bottom Bring on the rain! We'll be dry down there.
