Brief Description: Trim flanges of HS-405 ribs for spar fit.
The next step to make the HS-405 ribs fit is to trim the flange so there is a slot to fit around the spars. First I measured the part that needs to be cut out - reminding myself that they are going to be left and right orientation. A rough cut with the snippers, then nibble away at the rest with the nibblers to get close to the line. A little work on the grinder to complete a smooth edge - as well as the always important rounded corners. I sanded the edges down with some 400 grit and the Scotchbright and it looks professional!
