Brief Description: Tapering the ends of the HS-710 and HS-714 spars.
To taper the HS-710 and HS-714. I started with a hacksaw witht he part sticking up in the vise. Simply using the hacksaw to cut off as much material as I could to reduce the amount of work on the grinder. That worked well. It took me about 15 minutes for each end of the bracket after that to get a nice rounded and evenly shaped end. I broke the edges with the file, then polished them down with Scotchbrite pad. Looks good, and was easier to do that I was thinking. I just have a little concern with that one end. It looks like the alumimnum came off sligtly uneven (yeah, my fault) but hoping this is still legal for buidling specifications. I'll lhave to ask around ad read up on that.
