Messed around with the W-617 canopy latch weldment. I found that the center flap motor brace interferes with the weldment. I removed the three universal head rivets on the flap brace that hit the weldment dead on, and replaced them with countersunk rivets. This helped, but I still need to shim out both side bushing blocks to allow the welment to clear. Waste of time today...
