Started to scallop the upper Skybolt mounting strips. I still need to fabricate the upper middle section, and the tight bend that transitions from the top to the sides. I don't plan to scallop the side verticle strips below the cowl half split. Several people have said that scalloping those makes it difficult to install the bottom cowl when you're by yourself, as the cowl gets hung up on the scallops.
