Drilled, deburred and dimpled the Skybolt mounting strips for the firewall to cowl attach. I still need to attach the upper strip, but am holding off until I determine the Skybolt recepticle spacing... At this point, I'm planning to use the Skybolt 1/4 turn fasteners for the firewall to cowl attach, and hinges for the horizontal cowl halves. I will be installing tubing to allow removal of the hinge pins from inside the cockpit. I did this on my RV-4 and like the clean look of not having the pins removed from the front of the cowl...
