Installed eye bolts in the ceiling of my workshop. I had placed some heavy duty reinforcements in the ceiling joists prior to sheetrocking the shop for just this occasion, so feel confident the motor won't fall on my foot.
Now I need to decide if I'm going to install the engine with the mount installed to the fuselage (pic 2), or try to install the mount to the engine sitting on the dolly. I have read passionate threads on VAF that claim each is superior. I shall decide myself!
I've been waiting for the Lord mounts to arrive from Van's, which they did today via big brown. Tomorrow's the day to mount the engine...
