I need to order several AN fittings which I would like to install prior to hanging the engine. Since it will be a while until those arrive, I decided to strip the fuselage from the firewall back, and do a few items that need attention prior to painting the cockpit and canopy frame in preparation for finishing up the canopy/fairing.
Since I bought a work in progress kit from the original builder (quick build fuselage), I have decided to change quite a few things I'm not pleased with. One I'm working on now is the slots that the seat back fit into on the cross bar. They were not built properly, so I drilled them off, and will make the corrections and rivet them back on.
I also need to strip off all the interior paint the first builder put on WAY prematurely, plus the quality of the paint job is not what I would like...
