Determined that the oil filter adapter would indeed work on my engine. Thanks to Mahlon Russel from Mattituck, he said I just needed to trim the gasket slightly to be sure the Vernatherm will seat properly when it expands. I did that, and mounted the OFA.
Installed the restrictor oil pressure fitting which needs to be in place prior to mating the engine to the mount.
Installed the prop governor. I might be sorry I did this before mounting the engine, but I couldn't help myself...
