Brief Description: Vertical Stabilizer-Priming and Finish.
Priming involves three separate processes.1. Wash aluminum with alumiprep 33. Scrub with abrasive at same time to get the alclad coating off. Rinse well with water.2. Alodine- initial wash for partial protection from corrosion. Nasty chemical-wear respirator, glasses and latex gloves.3. Then spray paint on Akzo compound ( a two part mix) that you see as the green coating on all the metal parts below.Final, first finished product. Vertical stabilizer. Blue coating is a vinyl protector to avoid scratches while being thrown around the shop.Will be removed later
