Brief Description: travel to Texas for metalworking skills workshop
Went to GBI outside of Dallas-Ft. Worth for the weekend. We had a couple of Texas steakhouse type meals to stick with the theme.A couple named George and Becky have a house and hangar at a private airport "propwash". Spent the weekend learning about and practicing skills such as riveting, dimpling, countersinking, metal folding, removing rivets, etc.Really worthwhile. It gave me a standard to use against my own work to determine if I was on the right track.
