The holidays are making it hard to get into the shop and make progress. Work is busy too.
Finally getting the trim actuator fixed up. I had felt the hose clamp 'mush' as I tightened it, and sure enough, the clamp was mangled. Ordered two new ones to replace. Research showed 30 in-lb to be a max value for most clamps, so that's what I wound up using. I used bearing retaining compound and a second clamp for some added redundancy. Note use of a longer AN3-13 drilled bolt with castle nut to accomodate the extra thickness and rotation that the collar represents.
