Brief Description: Begin Installing The Elevator Trim Tab
Today I began work on the elevator trim tab installation. After locating and marking the trim tab's location on both sides of the elevator skin, I used a hole saw to cut a pilot hole for the snips. Next I installed the elevator trim tab center channel between the ribs and drilled and clecoed the bottom flange to the elevator skin. Then I flipped the elevator over and installed the panio hinge on the top side--Drilled and Clecoed.
