I cut both right and left aileron skins to specs. Then measured, marked, drilled and deburred pilot holes. Then I marked a centerline on the top and bottom of each aileron rib flange and lined them up with the pre-drilled pilot holes of the aileron skins. I then matched drilled pilot holes into each aileron rib. Next I laid each aileron skin upside down on a solid flat table and using a 1.45 mm shim ( under the hinge only) I proceded to align the hinges to the aileron skins and match drilled pilot holes into the skins-then came updrilling, disassembly and deburring. Next I gave all aileron parts a good wipe down and reassembled and riveted with CCP-42.
