Brief Description: Assemble, match drill, and debur vertical stab
- Trimmed flange material from two Rear Spar Caps and deburred. - Clamped Rear Spar Caps into Rear Spar flanges. My first try I did not get these aligned and fully aligned next to the spar flanges. Reworked the clamps and properly seated the Spar Caps. - Match drilled the Rear Spar Assembly per the instructions. - Countersunk the #30 holes on the Rear Spar Doubler but went 4 holes beyond the Upper Attach Bolt Holes per the instructions. This was unintentional, unnecessary, but not a problem. It just means using a few more countersunk rivets. - Assembled Vertical Stab skeleton assembly and match drilled the remaining holes - Attached skin to skeleton and match drilled. - Dissassembled Vertical Stab and deburred, scotchbrited, and dimpled relevant parts. - All Vertical Stab parts went into the pile to be primed that evening.
