Prepared one end of W-918 for welding. The rivets holding the threaded rod end to the pushrod chafed against the rear spar pass-through. Drilled out the rivets and removed a good portion of the paint. Had one pushrod welded (thanks Torsten) to the rod end. The next will be welded shortly. Filed away a bit of the aileron leading edge to clear the aileron stop (bottom side) and some rivet heads on the aileron hinge bracket (leading edge). They were too close. Pictures follow on final installation of the aileron.
