Brief Description: Transfer engine from tire to new engine stand.
Transferring the engine from its horizontal position to the vertical so that it fits the new stand was a bit of a mind bender at first. Stephanie came out and said “What ya doing? Need help?”. We talked it over and came up with a plan that worked nicely. Basically we bolted the new engine stand on the engine with the engine in the horizontal position lifted up with the engine hoist. I purposely put big wheels on the engine stand so that the bottom surface of the stand was high then the top of the engine hoist beams. This way the engine stand can move around under the engine up in the hoist. I pushed it 90 degrees while Stephanie lowered it down. Easy Peasy.
