Brief Description: Replace Right Elevator E702 Spar
I noticed that I had incorrectly countersink the wrong side of the right E702 spar for the four flush rivets that go underneath the elevator horn. I called Van's to order another. Since the right and left are identical, I will proceed with the other one until the new one arrives. I removed all the clecos from the elevator that were holding the spar to the skin and inner and outer ribs. I attached the new E702 to the remainder of the elevator structure in preparation for match drilling. The bad E702 spar was marked as scrap and set aside.
