Brief Description:  Web Cutter

I had cut the first set of rib webs using a small hand saw and that was difficult. Hard to hold and miter the cap strip material easily.

I had a Dremmel Tool and searched around for a wood cutting blade. Found one at Home Depot and gave it a try. It cut the cap strip material easily.

Next up was how to set up a jig that allowed me to miter all the different angles using the Dremmel Tool.

I came up with a pivot arm that cuts the angle that I need on a particular piece. I then marked that location on the jig board for future use when cutting the same piece. You can see it on the pictures.

The Dremmel Tool jig works great. You can knock out a perfectly cut web in 5-10 seconds. My buddy Bill helped me. Once he got into the rhythm, he could do the thirty or so pieces needed for one web location in about 15 minutes.
