I cut the aileron shape out of 4130 on a band saw and then filed the shape. I tried using a rotary file, but I need to work on my technique. I then bent it 90 degrees using the Tony Bingelis method of a mallet and a fomer made from 6061 aluminum with an 1/8" routed radius.
