I started working on the fiberglass tail tips for the horizontal stabilizer. First thing I noticed was that the tips(SNX-T14-02) were not very flat/square on the flat side. I had to first level them out. I drew a reference line then cut the edge with a Dremel tool. I then finished the edge off with the file and then some sandpaper.
Next I got the tip rib extensions(SNX-T14-04) mounted to the end rib on the stabilizer. I drew a reference line down the middle of both ribs to help with alignment.
Next I worked on getting the right-side tip mounted. I trimmed according to the plans and fitted the tip. This took some time but went well. I got the right tip all mounted and riveted.
