Brief Description:  Weigh bare fuselage and rudder stop question

Removed more of the fuselage bubble wrap and located long elevator control tube. Weighed the fuselage by setting it on 2 sawhorses at the extreme front and tail. Then used a bathroom scale to weigh myself plus each end of the fuselage (lifting each end at the same point as the sawhorse support. After subtracting my weight each time the front weight was 71 lb and the tail weight was 44 lb for a total bare fuselage weight of 115 lb. The front and rear shipping stands were removed for this. The front stand was reinstalled after weighing since it's a more stable platform in case of something like a small earthquake. Nathan helped with moving the sawhorses around while I lifted the fuselage.

The fuselage came with a loose bolt in one, but not the other rudder stop tubes. E-mailed Mark to ask. He didn't use bolts and all. He just used the tubes as a stop. He said to wait until the rudder is on and make sure I have at least +/-30 deg of travel. If bolts are used they go in head aft as shown. Not sure if they can just be bolted in or if the tubes should be tapped.
