Brief Description: Doubler plates for Com antenna and Transponder Ant
I had ordered the Commant com antenna an the mono pole Transponder antenna. I used the cork gasket to trace onto an .063 3 x 5 doubler plate for the com antenna. I used the same cork gasket to trace onto the same size for the mono pole antenna, I just plan on drilling out the mounting hole for the mono pole antenna and leave the four mounting location holes for the Blade type antenna. This doubler drilled for the mono pole antenna is just marked for future use of a blade antenna, if I for some reason break off the stem antenna. It will be easy to replace with a blade, just drill 4 mounting holes and install. Probly wont ever need, but just in case I do. I got drill happy with the unibit, the transponder antenna hole was only to be 1/2". So, I will make another plate for the transponder.
