Decided on installing mechanical fuel gauges as backup for EFIS. Found on Vans airforce website used, but in like new condition. Made cardboard template that was to my liking. Transfered to .025 aluminum, marked for holes and bend lines. Cut out with fly cutter the hole sizes, then bent to present form. Was either real good with markings and using the brake, or was first time lucky. Either way, It came out great. I then made a side cover from card board, transfered, then same as above. Came out a tight fit first time. 3rd picture is of housing temporaily installed with Andair fuel tank switch for visual.
